Clever Earns Four 2022 AAF Akron Addys
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Clever earned four awards, including the Judge’s Choice Award, at this year’s American Advertising Federation of Akron American Advertising Awards.
Clever received a silver Addy in the Elements of Advertising Visual Logo category for its logo and branding work for the newly renovated luxury apartments in Cleveland at 75 Public Square, according to a press release. The agency also took home a silver in Online/Interactive Websites for its work for Insight Clinical Counseling and Wellness LLC, and a third silver in Online/Interactive Social Media Campaign for its Women’s History Month social media campaign for Alta Head Start.
“We are incredibly honored and proud to have our work recognized this year,” Tony Marr, Clever co-founder, business development, said in the release. “The variety of categories we received honors in shows the breadth of our creative work and our ability to create powerful pieces of advertising for clients across all media.”
The highlight of the Feb. 18 award ceremony, the company stated, was receiving the Judge’s Choice Award for the Alta Head Start social media campaign.
“To have the Women’s History Month Campaign selected as a 2022 Judge’s Choice was a welcome surprise to our team,” said Whitney Burd, co-founder, graphic designer. “We loved the idea of creating a campaign that focused on celebrating influential women throughout history in a way that was creative, colorful and inspirational. And to be able to do so on a platform that is helping to shape the next generation of leaders at Alta Head Start, made it all the more impactful.”
“We hear feedback all the time from our clients appreciating the work we put into their brands and how we creatively express who they are and what they do,” added Adrienne Sabo, co-founder, creative. “And now to have it also recognized by our peers throughout the industry is truly special.”
