YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Golden Dawn restaurant, a landmark on the city’s north side, will reopen Friday, according to a post on its Facebook page.
The once-popular neighborhood eatery and watering hole will be open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. It will be closed on Sundays. Penguin City Brewing Co. announced on its Facebook page that its golden ale will be sold there.
The Golden Dawn is owned by Johnny Naples, son the late Ralph Naples, who founded the restaurant with his brother, the late Carmen Naples. The restaurant opened in 1932 and closed in 2017.
