Chick-fil-A Opens in Austintown
AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – A new Chick-fil-A restaurant opened today at 5647 Mahoning Ave.
Jared Szari of the Youngstown area is the owner and operator of the franchise and is responsible for all day-to-day activities of the business, which employs 120 full- and part-time workers.
Szari began his career with Chick-fil-A as a team member in 2004. During his college years at Malone University, he continued to work at Chick-fil-A restaurants in Ohio, eventually transitioning to management and director roles following his graduation in 2011.
The restaurant, located on the site of the former Mashorda’s County Gardens, is open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. It will be open for dine-in, drive-thru and carry-out service, as well as third-party delivery.
Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the free Chick-fil-A app or through online ordering.
To celebrate the opening, the new restaurant will surprise 100 local heroes making an impact in Youngstown with free Chick-fil-A for a year.
Additionally, in honor of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the greater Mahoning County area to aid in the fight against hunger.
Chick-fil-A Austintown will also implement the Shared Table program, which will donate surplus food to the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley to feed those in need.
