Makers Market Set for Saturday at Soap Gallery
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Rust Belt Made will hold its first pop-up Makers Market at the Soap Gallery downtown. The Spring Makers Market pop-up event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m.
Rust Belt Made’s Makers Market is a curated, pop-up event created by a collective group of friends and makers. The event will feature talented and like-minded Rust Belt makers, artisans and local small businesses, according to a news release announcing the event.
Vendors will include 1820 House, ala Jamie, Stone Fruit Coffee, Vintie
Design Co., Lola Bean’s Boutique, White Church Co., Junque, Hawks Homestead, Messie Jessie’s Whimsical Bakery, Papyrusaurus, Big Green Thing Food Truck and Main Street Gallery.
In addition, for a donation, participants can create a terrarium with Becky Keck of Create your own terrarium with Becky Keck of Students
Motivated by the Arts. Participation is on a first-come-first-served basis for the first 30. Small terrariums are $15 and large terrariums are $20. Proceeds will benefit SMARTS.
Free parking will be available along Champion Street.
