Home Savings Promotes Radis; Hires Young as CIO
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Home Savings and Loan Co. has promoted Barbara Radis to executive vice president for retail banking and hired Douglas Young as senior vice president and chief information officer, Gary M. Small, president and CEO, announced Friday.
Home Savings is the primary subsidiary of United Community Financial Corp.
Small noted Young’s more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry “as a diversified information technology manager and leader.” He has worked at KeyBank and at National City Bank before PNC Financial Services Group acquired it. Most recently, he was executive director for global technology infrastructure at JP Morgan Chase Corp.
Radis, who joined Home Savings in 2010, will continue to oversee a sales and operations team of more than 300 employees. “She has expanded our customers base and been a key contributor to the turnaround of Home Savings,’ Small said.
