Hollywood Gaming Racino Sets Records in April
AUSTINTOON, Ohio – Video lottery terminal play at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course here set a new record in April.
VLT wagers last month totaled $157.9 million, outpacing the record $156.1 million in March, the Ohio Lottery Commission reported.
Winnings also set a new record at the racino, which is operated by Penn National Gaming Inc., based in Wyomissing, Pa. Patrons took home $141.3 million in April, up from $139.5 million in March.
Net win – credits played minus credits won and the value of promotional play credits – totaled $14.5 million, up from $14.4 million the month before.
Penn National, which opened the racino in September 2014, received $9.6 million in April, about $51,00 more than the month before. The lottery commission’s share of net win was $4.8 million, also just above its March take.
