Men’s Wearhouse Building Sells for $1.5M

BOARDMAN, Ohio – A building that has a longtime national retailer as its long-term tenant on the corner of Market Street and U.S. Route 224 has been sold to a local company to make way for a new Urgent Care in the coming years, its new owner said.

The building at 7310 Market St. was sold for $1.55 million June 9 to Brick Print LLC, which gives its address as 4099 Fairway Drive, Canfield, according to records from the Mahoning County Auditor. The company was incorporated in July 2020 and lists Faroq Moonda as the statutory agent.

Lena Esmail, co-owner of Brick Print, said in an email to The Business Journal that they intend to open an Urgent Care center at the site “in the next few years.”

Brick Print recently purchased the Silver’s building downtown, where it intends to develop the first floor into retail space and the second floor into apartments.

Men’s Wearhouse, a national retailer of men’s suits and accessories, is as of now the sole tenant of the building.  The store is located at the intersection of Market Street and U.S. Route 224, one of the busiest commercial intersections in Mahoning County.

The building’s previous owner, 7224 Devel Co. Inc., paid $245,000 for the site in 1989 and remained the sole owner until the June 9 sale. 

The building and land is appraised at $680,620 by the auditor’s office for tax purposes.
