Library Trustees Welcome Sallee as Newest Member

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Board of Trustees of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County has voted to approve Mariel Sallee as the newest member. Sallee was appointed to the seat left vacant by T. Sharon Woodberry, who resigned from the board when she moved out of state.

Sallee works for Education Advanced Inc. as an account executive for Cardonex Sales. A graduate of Youngstown State University and Kent State University, he has nearly 20 years of experience in K-12 education. He serves on the board of Crossroads Church and Penn Ohio Athletic Club. Sallee lives in Austintown with his wife and four children.

“As a father, educator, and 25-year resident of the Valley, it’s an honor to serve as a member of the library’s board of trustees,” said Sallee. “Our library system has the potential to make an impact in every community of Mahoning County, and I’m excited to be a part of this transformative time for the library.”
