Leadership Lawrence County Accepting Applications
NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Leadership Lawrence County begins its fourth session this fall and is now accepting applications.
The 2022-2023 course partners with Penn State Beaver to provide participants with excellence in leadership training and development.
PSU Beaver will provide subject matter experts to instruct course curriculum. Nine modules are scheduled monthly beginning in October, with two sessions occurring in May 2023. Participants will earn 3.6 CEU credits and receive a certificate of completion from Leadership Lawrence County and Penn State University.
In addition to class time, the Forward Lawrence team will coordinate tours around the county to better acquaint participants with businesses, organizations and attractions in our area. Tours will be held on select class days following class hours.
Topics covered will include: Leading and Influencing Change; Project Management & Managing Multiple Priorities; Ethical Decision Making; Strategic Planning; Enhancing Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; Developing Emotional Intelligence & Stress Management; Business Development, and Negotiation Skills.
Leadership Lawrence County offers participants the opportunity to develop or enhance their leadership skills, learn about the county, grow in their professional development, and contribute to the success and growth of our community.
