Gem-Young Insurance Acquires Barnett Agency
CANFIELD, Ohio – Gem-Young Insurance and Wealth Advisors has announced the purchase of the Barnett Insurance Agency at 1653 W. State St. in Alliance.
Gem-Young and Barnett are independent agencies operated by members of the Daprile and Barnett families.
“Gem-Young insurance & Wealth Advisors is a multi-generation family insurance agency that meets our same level of compassion and quality service,” said Linda Barnett in a joint news release. “I am looking forward to continuing serving our clients and this community as a part of the Gem-Young team, as well as the opportunity to offer expanded insurance offerings and additional services.”

The Barnett Agency acquisition provides Gem-Young “the geographic expansion that gives our company the opportunity to grow and diversify our client base,” he said.

Gem-Young’s headquarters, pictured above, is at 3792 Starr Centre Drive in Canfield. The agency also operates an office at 15387 State Route 170 in East Liverpool.
