HD Davis CPAs and White Glove Payroll Acquiring Sforza & Walker CPAs

LIBERTY, Ohio – HD Davis CPAs and its sister company, White Glove Payroll, will acquire Sforza & Walker CPAs on Jan. 1.

The acquisition will give the Sforza & Walker team access to better technology and more specialized training and support, a news release states.

Sforza & Walker CPAs started in Warren in 1998, focusing on tax, bookkeeping, payroll and business consulting services. After the acquisition, the company, led by Henry Sforza and John Marlatt, will retain all of its current employees and its location at 444 High St. NE.

“Our guiding principles directly align with the core values of both HD Davis CPAs and White Glove Payroll, so clients can expect that same outstanding service they are used to for years to come,” said Henry Sforza, president of Sforza & Walker CPAs.

HD Davis CPAs is owned by two local certified public accountants, Tim Petrey and Joe Kilgore. Their team consists of more than 50 local professionals, and they have a remote presence in Pennsylvania, Florida and Indiana.

“We are extremely excited to add the Sforza & Walker team to ours,” Petrey said. “Our firms have been leaders in servicing small business clients in our community for many years, so to see us come together is very exciting.”

White Glove Payroll spun off from HD Davis CPAs in 2017 when Petrey and Kilgore decided to develop and roll out a team of payroll professionals with an investment in technology.
