Diagnostics Direct Sells Youngstown Building for $2M
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Allstate Warehouse Properties LLC, a company based in New Jersey, on Tuesday purchased a building located at 117 North Ave. for $2 million, records from the Mahoning County auditor’s website show.
The building was owned by Diagnostics Direct Inc., which supplies disposable gloves to businesses, health care providers and government agencies.
Space will be rented out in the 200,000-square-foot Allstate Public Warehouse building.
“We provide a very unique service to this area, called ‘public warehousing.’ This concept is used in large market areas such as Chicago, Cleveland, and New York, and is based on sharing overhead expenses (utilities, equipment, security, & labor),” the company states on its website. “Logistics can be performed by the tenants or by the Public Warehouse, even on a per pallet basis which reduces overhead cost plus increases efficiency.”
Allstate Warehouse Properties registered with the state Nov. 16, according to the Ohio secretary of state’s website. James R. Scher of Warren is listed as the company’s statutory agent.
