YoGo Bikeshare to Participate in National Webinar on Access to E-Bikes
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – YoGo Bikeshare’s president will participate in a national webinar series on increasing access to e-bikes.
The webinar, scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, is part of the Next City Solutions of the Year series.
Ronnell Elkins, president of YoGo Bikeshare, will discuss the needs that led to creating the bike-sharing company and how its electronically assisted bikes will help address some of the challenges facing the city.
“We’re excited to gain national attention for the work we’re doing in our hometown,” Elkins said. “Since YoGo Bikeshare’s inception, we’ve remained committed to not only bringing a cost-effective transportation alternative to the city, but also working to inspire and engage the community through positive interactions. Participation in this event is another way to help us shine a positive light on our great city of Youngstown.”
YoGo Bikeshare, which plans to launch later this year, will offer access – via an app – to 30 e-bikes found at four docking stations located throughout the downtown area. Rider fees will range from $4 for 20 minutes up to $90 for an annual subscription.
More information about Tuesday’s webinar is available here. Attendees can contribute any amount they deem reasonable when registering for the session. The cost is $50 for access to all seven webinars in the series.
