D & R Related Entity Buys Austintown Building for $850K

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A limited liability company connected with D & R Garage Doors Plus Inc. purchased the Austintown building where it has been located for decades.

Mahoning County records show R & D Mahoning Properties LLC purchased the building, which has an address of 4716 and 4728  Mahoning Ave., for $850,000 from Gerald Bernard in a transaction that closed Tuesday.

R & D, which filed with the Ohio Secretary of State’s office Aug. 19, 2022, lists a 4716 Mahoning Ave. address, the same address as D & R. 

Dave Novak, D & R’s president, is listed as the agent.  

D & R has been located in the building for nearly 22 years, Novak said.

The building’s other tenant, Caribbean Pools & Hot Tubs, is located at the 4728 Mahoning address and is expected to remain as a tenant, Novak said.
