Moving on to the Next Chapter

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Suzanne Barbati, newly retired from Oh Wow! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology, reflects on her time with the museum and her hopes for the future.

“I was hired in March of 2009,” Barbati says. “We spent 15 months raising a million and a half in the middle of a recession. I don’t know what we were thinking. We weren’t thinking. There was never any doubt in my mind that we would be able to do it.”
