BDI Additive to Unveil New JuggerBot FGF Printer
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – BDI Additive will host an event March 9 to unveil its latest fused granulate fabrication machine from JuggerBot 3D.
A ribbon-cutting will take place at 9:30 a.m. in Tech Block Building 5 of the Youngstown Business Incubator campus, 29 Vindicator Square. A 10:30 a.m. ceremony will follow at America Makes, 236 W. Boardman St., featuring presentations on FGF printing capabilities from the Certified Additive Manufacturing Equipment Operator Training program and Parts Replication Projects.
Those in attendance will have the opportunity to see the FGF machine in action and learn about its features and benefits. Members of BDI Additive and JuggerBot 3D will be on hand to answer questions.
“BDI Additive’s acquisition of a JuggerBot 3D FGF printer is a testament to their commitment to advancing additive manufacturing capabilities,” said Zac DiVencenzo, president of JuggerBot 3D. “With this cutting-edge technology at their disposal, they have the power to bring even the most ambitious design concepts to life and to revolutionize industries with the power of 3D printing.”
Fused granulate fabrication is an extrusion-based 3D printing technique where plastic granules are melted and fed through a nozzle. FGF is commonly used in industrial and prototyping applications, as well as in the production of high-quality plastic parts.
“The FGF machine allows us to offer customers even more flexibility and customization in their 3D printing projects,” said Austen Meredith, product replication and sales engineering manager at BDI Additive. “We are able to push the boundaries of what’s possible in additive manufacturing and deliver even more value to our customers.”
