898 Marketing Achieves National Recognitions
CANFIELD – In 2022, 898 Marketing added new clients while retaining and serving its full list of agency-of-record clients.
The agency increased its business by more than 60% compared with 2021, says Jeff Ryznar, president of 898 Marketing. This year the agency is looking to expand its team with new full-time employees who will assist in additional growth and development for the agency and its clients.
Alongside its 24 team members, the agency brought on eight interns in three classes in 2022.
One of the 2022 highlights for 898 Marketing included assisting the new United States Football League during its inaugural season, Ryznar says. The agency provided media, digital and social media content, as well as public relations, as the USFL hosted two semifinal games and the championship game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium at the Hall of Fame Village in Canton.
The agency was recognized by the American Advertising Federation-Akron at its annual awards ceremony with two awards: gold for its client appreciation Christmas gift boxes and silver for its website redesign.
In August, 898 Marketing received the first of two national recognitions. The agency was named to the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Companies in America, ranking 1,031 on the list of 5,000 companies. 898 Marketing was also ranked 82nd in advertising and marketing, 18th in the state of Ohio and first in Youngstown.
In October, the agency was recognized on Adweek’s Fastest Growing Agencies list, ranking 23rd in the United States and first in Ohio.
“We always have goals for what we hope to achieve for our projects, and they are 100% focused on our clients. However, in 2022, we [received] recognitions we never [dreamed] were possible nine years ago when we established our firm,” Ryznar says. “The awards are a nice reminder and affirmation that what we are doing matters to our clients as we play a significant role in their success.”
