Growth Report 2: Crowe’s Cabinets Invests in Processes With New Software
POLAND – In 2022, Crowe’s Cabinets invested in both processes and people. In 2023, the company
looks to expand the delivery of projects to established commercial clients and a growing residential market.
“We experienced significant growth in 2022 and that momentum has continued into 2023, in both the commercial and residential sides of the business,” says Tim Crowe, CEO.
“On the residential side of the business, we made a major investment in our people by expanding our team with the addition of Jordan Shaver. Jordan is highly experienced in the industry, a real go-getter, and we have great expectations in our residential division with Jordan and our team,” Crowe says.
Crowe’s Cabinets, founded in 1978, is based in Poland. The second-generation, family-owned and operated custom cabinet and countertop company serves the tri-state area. It has 20 employees.
The company has fully implemented new production software for integrated manufacturing, from shop drawings to manufacturing to finished products, Crowe says.
“The new software is streamlining production outputs and will do much more than that as we develop it. With many new capabilities in this system, we have plans to develop product lines that were previously manually engineered per job and fabricated more traditionally,” Crowe says. “We look to make our processes on these products much more efficient. The software will also allow us to connect to new equipment to further increase efficiency and capacity.”
Some of the company’s high-profile projects include the custom bar in Penguin City Brewing Co.’s taproom; the fire restoration project at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard; the emergency department expansion at Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley; Mercy Health’s Belmont outpatient clinic; Southwoods Executive Center; Oh Wow! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology; the Heritage Manor expansion; and the Youngstown Orthopaedic Center expansion.
Crowe’s Cabinets, which was recognized as outstanding small business philanthropist by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Mahoning-Shenango Chapter, is actively involved in the Rotary Club of Poland and supports Ursuline High School, Hospice of the Valley, Northeast Ohio Adoption Services, Boys & Girls Clubs, The Rich Center for Autism and other organizations.
