One Hot Cookie Celebrates 10 Years

BOARDMAN, Ohio – One Hot Cookie this year will celebrate 10 years of making what it calls “cookies worth sharing.”

The shop at 1315 Boardman Canfield Road offers gourmet cookies, brownies, popcorn, ice cream and more. In 2022, the owners continued investing in packaging, expanding its line of gift boxes and custom containers that are used in-store.

The company also purchased a warehouse last year to allow for expanded inventory and storage capabilities. It also houses the Cookie Camper and other mobile units owned by its portfolio companies, OH Donut Co. and Sweet Sips – a mobile bar experience.

Looking ahead, One Hot Cookie will target online and mobile sales for growth, says Bergen Giordani, who co-owns the business with her daughter, Morgen Chretien.

The company is considering expansion outside of the Youngstown area “to more touristy areas,” she says.

One Hot Cookie employs 15.
