SSB Focuses on Growth and Development

CANFIELD – What is the “new normal” at SSB? It’s not so much new as renewed. We discovered during the recent challenging times that our culture, including relationships with team members and clients, has remained the same. It has just been strengthened and reinforced.
We reaffirmed our vision statement so we are all on the same track to nurture an environment of trust, respect and collaboration while helping our team and our clients to thrive. We are proud that our team quickly adapts to change and we work together to overcome challenges.
Schroedel, Scullin & Bestic, LLC, has always been on the cutting edge of technology. We have made great strides in our marketing strategy by taking advantage of ever-changing technology to develop our website and social media presence. Technology has allowed us to reach prospective clients nationwide. We have adapted to providing accounting and other services remotely. And we recently implemented RingCentral to more efficiently connect with our clients, prospects and colleagues.
Our leadership team continues to develop and grow through mentoring and idea sharing. This year, we will be renovating our offices to accommodate our growing team.
One of our niche industries – the brewery industry – continues to develop at a fast pace and SSB’s brewery consulting team is keeping pace. We also are seeing growth in the trucking industry and litigation support.
Our accounting and advisory services division is growing as more clients need an alternative option for bookkeeping services. Our wealth management team works closely with clients to educate them and to navigate an unstable market.
SSB team members participate as volunteers and serve on boards for many organizations. These include the Better Business Bureau, Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, Salem Regional Medical Center, Sight for All United, Stambaugh Auditorium, Youngstown Symphony Foundation and others.
Our team raised money for the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley and Project MKC, participated in the annual Panerathon and collected donations for Movember to help raise awareness of men’s health issues.
We are excited to showcase our new managing principal, Tracie Stephens. She is extremely knowledgeable and widely respected by her partners, her team and her clients. Her appointment is well deserved and shows that SSB will be part of this dynamic community for many years to come.
