Partnership Seeks Photos of Downtown Youngstown
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Downtown Youngstown Partnership, a committee of Youngstown CityScape that promotes businesses, networking and community service projects, is seeking dynamic photos of people, places and events in downtown Youngstown for a photography competition.
The winning photos will be installed inside the windows of 20 Federal Place along North Phelps Street.
To qualify, submissions must meet the following criteria:
- Photos must indicate that they were taken in downtown Youngstown. (Preference will be given to inclusion of notable landmarks or locations.)
- Minimum width of 5,000 pixels.
- An individual can submit no more than two photos.
The top seven photos will be selected by popular vote at the Downtown Youngstown Partnership kickoff, set for 5 to 7 p.m. June 22 at the Oh Wow! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology. Each of the seven winning entries will be awarded a $100 cash prize (with photo credit caption).
