Kennsington Names Crittenden Director of Golf
CANFIELD, Ohio – Jeff Crittenden, a PGA professional and world-ranked long driver, is the newly appointed director of golf at Kennsington Golf Club.
Crittenden is known for his long-drive ability, which has earned him several awards and recognitions as well as a top-five world ranking. He finished fifth in the 2015 World Long Drive Championship and second in the 2014 Re/Max World Long Drive Championship.
He comes to the golf course from North Carolina Golf Academy in Greensboro, N.C., where he was an owner and director of instruction.
“I look forward to bringing a new and entertaining approach to golf, he said in a statement announcing his appointment. “Kennsington is an impressive course. I have a lot of plans for the golf club.”
Crittenden’s resume includes teaching at Swings the Thing golf schools, Grand Cypress Academy of Golf, Precision Golf schools, ESPN and Golf Digest golf schools.
Kennsington is an 18-hole, par 71 public golf course designed by award-winning golf course architect Brian Huntley.
“We’re very happy to have Jeff on board,” said Chuck Whitman, owner of Kennsington. “His qualifications are assets to Kennsington that no other course in the area has to offer.
