Diehl Dealership in Salem Sold for $5M
SALEM, Ohio – The Diehl’s of Salem Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership on Legacy Lane was recently sold for $5 million.
Salem Auto Holdings LLC purchased the dealership, which had been operated by the Diehl Auto Group since 2018.
Brian Day said he is involved in the ownership partnership of four dealerships in the area and will serve as the CEO and managing partner of the dealership in Salem, which has been renamed Salem Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
The dealership sits on 4 acres along the bypass where it crosses North Ellsworth Avenue just north of Salem. Besides a showroom, the property includes a service garage and lots for vehicles. The deal closed Tuesday.
Day said customers can expect a lot more service and a lot more inventory to choose from under the new ownership. Additionally, both new and used purchases come with free oil change plans.
Other dealerships in the area under the same ownership group are Boardman Nissan, Grove City Ford and Columbiana Ford.
The location at Columbiana Ford was purchased in 2021 and is currently undergoing a large renovation. Day said the ongoing work at that location is anticipated to be completed in May and they are looking forward to welcoming the public for a grand reopening event at that time.
