Eastern Gateway Launches Fall Enrollment Campaign

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – Eastern Gateway Community College has launched Pass the Torch, a fall enrollment campaign that encourages current students and alumni to refer potential students to the college.

“Our students and alumni at Eastern Gateway understand better than anyone the doors that are opened when you enroll in our college,” said Michael Geoghegan, Eastern Gateway Community College president. “The Pass the Torch campaign is designed to encourage our students and alumni to refer their friends, co-workers and family members to Eastern Gateway.”

Students and alumni who refer potential students to Eastern Gateway will have a chance to win a $5,000 or $2,500 scholarship to a four-year institution or a laptop or an iPad.

“No one understands the dream of going to college or graduating with a debt-free degree like our current students and alumni. We’re asking them to Pass the Torch and light the pathway for a higher education for friends, co-workers and family,” Geoghegan said.
