Former Mob Boss Michael Franzese Coming to Robins Theatre

WARREN, Ohio – Former mob boss Michael Franzese will bring his “A Mob Story” presentation to the Robins Theatre on Saturday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m.

Franzese, a former “made man,” was a captain in the Colombo crime family, where he made over a billion dollars for the mob. He walked away from that life over 25 years ago and has lived without witness protection.

Life Magazine once called him “the mob’s young genius,” and his true-life story has been airing for years on the History Channel and National Geographic. His biweekly YouTube show, “Sit Down with Michael Franzese,” has over 4 million views per month.

In his presentation, Franzese speaks for over an hour and then ends his show with a question-and-answer session. His show promises to breathe new meaning into every mob movie and TV show. But unlike shows like “The Sopranos,” all the stories he will tell are true.

Tickets range from $29 to $49 (plus applicable fees). A limited number of VIP packages are available that include:

  • A meet and greet and family-style dinner at Salvatore’s Italian Restaurant before the show;
  • A copy of Franzese’s book;
  • A Gold Circle ticket to the show.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 30, at robinstheatre.com and at the box office, 160 E. Market St. A presale for members of Friends of the Robins Theater will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Franzese’s appearance is presented by the Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini Foundation.
