SRMC Foundation’s Pink Out to Feature Dine Out 4 Cancer Option
SALEM, Ohio – Area residents are invited to join the Salem Regional Medical Center Foundation for its fourth annual Pink Out at Firestone Farms breast cancer benefit.
This year’s Pink Out, from 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 2, will feature a special Dine Out 4 Cancer experience.
The event will include small plate samples from participating restaurants at Firestone Farms. All proceeds will benefit the SRMC Foundation’s Breast Cancer Fund.
Participating Dine Out 4 Cancer restaurants include Homestead Kitchen & Cocktails, Ill Will Brewing, Mexico City Bar & Grill, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, Sabi’s, Smoke Worx Street Cuisine and Sweet Melissa’s.
“We are excited to introduce this new Dine Out 4 Cancer event at Firestone Farms,” said Amy Reed, SRMC Foundation director. “Area residents are invited to purchase a ticket and dine out at our participating restaurants, where they can enjoy some delicious small plate dining while supporting a great cause.”
The SRMC Foundation will sponsor a concert in the courtyard featuring Rudy and the Professionals from 7 to 9 p.m.
While there is no charge to attend the Pink Out event, the Dine Out 4 Cancer portion of the event is by ticket only. A limited number of tickets will be sold in advance for $50. No additional tickets will be sold at the event.
Those who purchase an event ticket will automatically be entered into a drawing for an overnight stay at the Airbnb at Vagabond Village. The Firestone Farms-sponsored stay will be valid for one year.
Tickets can be purchased from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays through Aug. 30 at SRMC’s Look Nook Gift Shop, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the SRMC cafeteria on Aug. 4 and 8. Both the Look Nook Gift Shop and cafeteria are located in the main concourse of the hospital.
Pink Out T-shirts will be on sale at the event for $20, cash only. T-shirts may also be purchased in advance at the Look Nook Gift Shop through Aug. 30, during ticket sale hours. All T-shirt proceeds will go to the SRMC Foundation Breast Cancer Fund.
