Premier Bank Donates $15K to American Cancer Society

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Premier Bank recently donated a check for $15,000 to the American Cancer Society.

“We are so proud to support the American Cancer Society as they continue their steadfast fight to defeat cancer,” said Trish Gelsomino, foundation giving coordinator for Premier Bank. “Together, we’re making a difference in the lives of cancer survivors and their families in the Mahoning Valley.”

The funds were used to sponsor the 2023 Tri-County Golf Classic that took place earlier this month at The Lake Club in Poland.

“The Tri-County Golf Classic is a nonprofit event that is run by volunteers. We host events like this in hopes of helping the American Cancer Society continue to save lives by helping people stay well and get well, by finding cures and by fighting back against cancer,” said Kelly Roelen, senior development manager for the American Cancer Society. “Over the past 23 years, we have raised nearly $2.5 million through this tournament.”
