Sheetz Opens New Store Saturday in North Jackson
NORTH JACKSON, Ohio — Sheetz, a Mid-Atlantic restaurant and convenience chain, will inaugurate its new store at 1301 S Bailey Road at 8 a.m. Saturday.
The company has slated a grand opening celebration for Oct. 2 starting at 9 a.m. outside the location. Attendees can expect various prizes, including a chance to win “Sheetz for a Year.” The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Additionally, customers can enjoy free self-serve coffee and soda throughout the day.
Also to commemorate the opening, Sheetz will contribute $2,500 to the Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley, an affiliate of Feeding America. The organization annually supplies over 13.8 million pounds of food to those in need in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties, according to a release.
Visitors are urged to bring a non-perishable food item for the nonprofit during the event. In return, donors will get a Sheetz thermal bag from 9-11 a.m., while supplies last.
The Special Olympics of Ohio will also benefit from Sheetz’s generosity with a separate $2,500 donation.
The North Jackson location will feature five lanes for high flow diesel fuel and Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) specifically for semi-trucks and 12 fuel terminals for other vehicles. The site will also provide 59 parking spots, accommodating overnight stays for truckers.
Sheetz operates over 700 locations throughout Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland. It stores are open 24/7 year-round.
