Penn State Shenango Lecture to Focus on Inflation
SHARON, Pa. – Penn State Shenango will host its next Faculty Lecture Series event of the fall semester at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in Lecture Hall Room 223.
Business professor Ira Saltz will give the presentation, titled The Post Pandemic Inflation, Its Causes and Consequences.
Inflation has been a hot topic among economists and business leaders since the Covid-19 pandemic. Saltz said he hopes to break down its root causes and help predict what to expect moving forward into 2024.
Saltz is the associate program adviser in economics in the Business Department at Penn State Shenango. He received his bachelor’s in economics from Cornell University and his doctorate in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
Admission to the lecture is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
