Hess, Chevron Speakers to Update Oil, Gas Producers
ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — The Ohio Valley Oil and Gas Association will hold its general membership meeting and the 2015 update on the state of the industry March 19 at Belmont College.
The session, to be held in Horizon Hall, will feature presentations by Andrew Keck, senior land negotiator for Hess Corp., and Patrick Ryan, operations superintendent with Chevron Corp.
“We are extremely honored to have Mr. Ryan and Mr. Keck to speak on the state of the oil and gas industry in our area,” said Matt Steele, association president. “We want to provide our members with the most current industry information and an insight on how their businesses can benefit and be more involved, as well as the potential outlook of one of the fastest growing industries in our area.”
Keck has been engaged in the land and legal aspects of the oil and gas industry since 2007. His focus has been surface development, specifically issues related to large-scale midstream build outs, water transfers and road infrastructure, oil and gas titles, title opinions, leasing and right-of-way acquisition projects.
Ryan is responsible for managing Chevron-operated production in northern Appalachia (Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia), primarily the Marcellus and Utica shale plays. He has also served as a senior production engineer for Chevron in Appalachia, developing surface and subsurface production optimization strategies.
This event is open only to members of the association and their guests. For information on attending this or other events, contact the oil and gas association at 740 232 9219.
