Sheely’s Charitable Event Raises Over $8K for Believe in Dreams
NORTH LIMA, Ohio – Sheely’s Furniture and Appliance announced Monday that its second-quarter fundraising drive raised $8,055 for Believe in Dreams.
Sheely’s presented a check to the organization July 19 at the store’s Aurora location.
“Believe in Dreams fosters hope in the hearts and souls of socially challenged children in such a caring and giving way,” said Jessica Smith, Sheely’s owner. “Sheely’s is pleased to confirm their good work with this fundraising drive. In our 70-plus years in business in the region, giving back to our community is always in the forefront of why we do what we do. Helping the region’s disadvantaged children is such an honor.”
The fundraising event was held at Sheely’s locations in Aurora and North Lima. Sheely’s provided matching funds for every donation received and incentivized customers to donate by offering $100 off a purchase of $1,000 or more.
“Sheely’s is continually devoted to helping fill the many needs in our community,” said Lance Romeo, Sheely’s buyer and principal owner. “We want to thank everyone involved in our Believe in Dreams effort, including our wonderful customers and our amazing staff.”
