Hiram College Nursing Cohort Achieves 100% Pass Rate

HIRAM, Ohio – This year’s graduates of Hiram College’s Bachelor of Science in nursing program have achieved a 100% pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.

This is the second consecutive year that the program has achieved a 100% pass rate on the exam, which is a requirement for nursing graduates that must be successfully passed to become licensed as a registered nurse.

“The Hiram College BSN students achieving a 100% NCLEX pass rate for two consecutive years is a remarkable testament to their dedication, resilience and hard work,” said Sarahbeth Abalos, nursing program director and assistant professor of nursing at Hiram College.

“This achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of our nursing faculty, the invaluable support of the entire campus community and the collaborative environment that nurtures student success,” she said. “It is a proud moment for all of us, underscoring the excellence and rigor of our nursing program at Hiram College.”

Hiram was one of only five BSN programs in Ohio to have a 100% pass rate for the 2023 cohort, according to the Ohio Board of Nursing.

The class of 2024 nursing cohort includes Kelsie Gaiser, Emily Weema, Samantha Arnold, Abriana Schwartz, Hunter Whitton, Joshua Siuzdak, Claudia Landis and Shawn Stacey.
