Breakstone Joins First Commonwealth Bank’s Metro PA Team
INDIANA, Pa.―First Commonwealth Bank has added a corporate banker to its Metro PA-Pittsburgh team.
Jacob Breakstone joins First Commonwealth as a corporate banker and relationship manager, after spending more than eight years in accounting services focused on asset based lending and field examination services. Most recently, Breakstone served in a commercial banking role at S&T Bank for two years.
“We are excited to add Jake to our corporate banking team,” says Frank Bovina, First Commonwealth’s corporate banking group manager for the Metro PA region, which includes Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, Washington and portions of Armstrong and Westmoreland counties. “His extensive accounting and lending background will be valuable in serving our clients, prospects, partners, and community and fulfilling our mission of improving the financial lives of our neighbors and their business.”
In this role, Breakstone will focus on business development of new prospecting customers as well as managing existing relationships in the middle market sector. He will advise clients in banking solutions that include credit, treasury management, depository solutions and other services of the bank. Additionally, Breakstone will partner with internal partners to grow and expand these relationships through providing ancillary solutions for insurance and wealth management.
Breakstone earned a dual bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was also a member of the Crimson Hawks football team. He is an active licensed CFE in Pennsylvania and a member of the Turnaround Management Association and Secured Finance Network.
