Lisa Long will become CEO of the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation on Jan. 1, 2025. She currently serves as financial resource development director, a role she has held since April 2018.
She is the sole administrator of the Youngstown Area Jewish Foundation, managing 131 funds totaling more than $47 million, and overseeing the Thomases Family Endowment. She distributes approximately 100 grants totaling about $1 million annually in the U.S., Poland, Ukraine and Israel.
Lisa is a past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Her volunteer involvement includes the Congregation Ohev Beth Sholom Sisterhood, the Opera Western Reserve Board of Directors and as a teen-of-impact team member and mentor for the American Heart Association.
She holds a B.S. in mass communications with a minor in political analysis from Miami University. She graduated from Mandel Institute for Nonprofit Leadership in 2024.
