Boardman Civic Association to Honor Community Award Winners

BOARDMAN, Ohio – The Boardman Civic Association will honor the 2024 Community Award winners at its annual Community Awards Dinner.

The awards are given to individuals and entities that are committed to and have a positive impact on the Boardman Township community. The awards dinner will take place Oct. 21 at the Lariccia Family Community Center in Boardman Park.

This year’s awards will be presented to the following individuals and entities:

• Business Person of the Year: Rick Blase.
• Community Service Award: Boardman Schools Fund for Educational Excellence.
• Citizen of the Year: Tim Saxton.
• Remodeled Buildings Awards: Youngstown Orthopaedic.
• New Buildings Awards: Prosper Centre.

The dinner is included in Boardman Civic Association members’ dues. Nonmembers can attend the event for $20 per person. Reservations are required by Oct. 18 by emailing [email protected].
