BBB Encourages Customers to ‘Thank a Business’
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – During Thank a Business Month, the Better Business Bureau is encouraging customers to write a review about marketplace experiences with businesses, brands and charities.
“Supporting your favorite small business goes beyond making a purchase; it’s also about sharing your positive experiences and instances of exceptional customer service,” said Melissa Ames, president and CEO of Better Business Bureau of Mahoning Valley. “At BBB, we are dedicated to celebrating the businesses that foster trust and contribute to the economy of our Valley.”
For businesses, “reputation can mean everything, especially for a small business owner trying to attract and retain customers,” a BBB news release states. “The best way a business can tell its story is through online customer reviews. We know that many small businesses have a difficult time receiving positive reviews, responding to negative ones, and marketing reviews to help their business grow.”
Other ways the BBB encourages customers to “thank a business” is by referring family and friends, connecting and engaging on social media, making a purchase, leaving a generous tip and participating in special promotions and events.
