Insomnia Cookies Chain Opens Youngstown Location
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Insomnia Cookies has opened its first franchise in the Mahoning Valley at 135 Lincoln Ave., on the Youngstown State University campus.
It’s the rapidly growing company’s 305th store, and its 15th in Ohio.
Insomnia sells warm cookies all day and late into the night, offering in-store sales, pickup and delivery options.
The cookies range from the Classic Chocolate Chunk to favorites like Snickerdoodles and Confetti Deluxe. There is also ice cream, brookies, brownies and blondies, a full slate of vegan options and a frequently rotating limited-edition menu.
In celebration of the new Youngstown location, Insomnia Cookies will have an all-day in-store grand opening event and late-night celebration with freebies, treats and more today, Nov. 2.
The Youngstown store is open from noon to 1 a.m. Sunday; 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday to Wednesday; and 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Visitors can sign up for Insomnia Rewards and receive a free Classic cookie (no purchase required).
Based in Philadelphia, Insomnia Cookies was founded in a University of Pennsylvania dorm room by then-student Seth Berkowitz.
