Commercial Building in Austintown Sold for $2.8M

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – A commercial building that houses Linde Welding Gas & Equipment Center has been sold to California investors for $2.8 million, according to records filed with the Mahoning County Auditor’s office.

Transaction records show that the Cutting Family Trust, based in Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., acquired the property from Jetlag LLC on Nov. 13. The trustee for the entity is listed as Warren Duryee Cutting et al. 

The building at 5385 Clarkins Road was constructed in 2022, records show, and the 2.2 acres and structure is appraised at $1 million for property tax purposes.

Linde distributes welding supplies and equipment from manufacturers such as Lincoln Electric, Miller Electric and ESAB Welding and Cutting. It also sells welding safety gear such as gloves and helmets, as well as propane, dry ice, welding wire and other products.
