Family Business Brings Big Savings to Leavittsburg
LEAVITTSBURG, Ohio – Hometown Discounts, a family owned and operated small business, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday to mark the official opening of its retail store at 70 S. Leavitt Road.
The store, which opened in July, occupies the former Ace Hardware space and offers a wide range of deeply discounted products.
Store manager Cassondra Urmson says the small store has limited space, so products rotate often. “If something sells on the shelf, I can go back in our overstock and grab something else,” she says. “More than likely, it’s not going to be the same item.”
Owner Nick Wilson, a local resident, emphasized the store’s commitment to providing affordable everyday essentials to the community. “There’s a lot of expensive product out there right now, and we are just that little beacon of hope for them,” he said.
Hometown Discounts is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
