Energy Optimism Opens in Columbiana
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – A new solar energy company, Energy Optimism LLC, opened its doors in Columbiana Friday, tapping into the growing alternative energy market in the area.
“Solar energy systems are now mainstream power sources in the United States. Solar is becoming competitive with traditional electrical power sources,” said owner Charles Hatch in a release. “The systems that Energy Optimism provides and installs for our customers often see an eight- to 10-year return on their investment.”
The company is owned and operated by four brothers who grew up in the area, noted the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce. Hatch added that almost everyone, from homeowners to nonprofits to businesses, can take advantage of federal and state incentives for adopting solar power.
“We have a real opportunity to offset our electrical usage with clean solar power. This is not only a sound investment for right now, it is a sound investment for our community, businesses and families as we move into the future,” Hatch said. “Energy Optimism designs and installs efficient, cost effective solar power systems and is optimistic about our shared energy future.”
