Trumbull Historical Society Hosts Neil Armstrong Talk

WARREN, Ohio – The Trumbull County Historical Society will host a talk about Neil Armstrong at 2 p.m. June 4, as part of its program Summer Sundays on Monroe Street series.

Dan Mathey, a member of the society and a past trustee, will present the program on the life and accomplishments of the notable Ohioan. Mathey, who was involved in the planning process for the Armstrong monument on Parkman Road, has spent many years researching Neil Armstrong’s life and his contributions to science.

Light refreshments will be provided at the talk, which is free and open to the public.

Tours of the John Stark Edwards House and Trumbull County Museum will be available from 3 to 5 p.m. after the presentation.
