Auditor of State Announces Awards for Clean Audits
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Auditor of State Dave Yost announced the Auditor of State Award to entities for clean audit reports Tuesday.
The award is presented to local governments and school districts upon the completion of a financial audit.
The Auditor of State’s office, one of five independently elected statewide offices in Ohio, is responsible for auditing more than 5,900 state and local government agencies. The office also provides financial services to local governments, investigates and prevents fraud in public agencies and promotes transparency in government.
The following entities received the award:
- City of Willowick
- Cleveland-Cuyahoga County Port Authority
- Eastgate Regional Council of Governments
- Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission
- Stark County Port Authority
- Warren County Metropolitan Housing Authority
