Sweeney Dealerships Launch Operation Santa

BOARDMAN, Ohio — Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC is driving into the holidays with its Operation Santa 2017 campaign.

The mission of the campaign is to provide support for those in need this holiday season and throughout the year. The organizations split the $30,200 raised last year during Sweeney’s six-week Operation Santa campaign.

This year, the annual drive, which began Nov. 20 and runs through Jan. 2, will benefit the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley and the Boys & Girls Club of Youngstown. For every new Chevrolet sold during that period, the dealership will donate $50 to the Rescue Mission. For every new Buick or GMC sold, $50 will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club.

“Operation Santa has raised over $100,000 for valley charities in the last four years. We are excited to support the good work these organizations do in our community,” said Doug Sweeney, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC president, said.
