CityScape Kicks Off Welsh Church Renovation July 20
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Youngstown CityScape is kicking off its campaign to relocate and renovate the Welsh Congregational Church at 5:30 p.m. July 20 at Noble Creature Cask House.
The Welsh Congregational Church is 157 years old and the oldest in the city. It is currently on Elm Street. Youngstown CityScape would like to move the church to Wick Park, where once renovated, it will be able to be used by the community for all types of events.
Project details will be unveiled at Noble Creature Cask House and a portion of beer sales will go toward the campaign. There will also be raffle prizes and 50/50 drawing.
