GM to Unveil 2016 Cruze at Detroit Event

DETROIT – The 2016 all-new Chevrolet Cruze will be unveiled tonight at the Fillmore Theatre here. The redesigned car, made at GM’s Lordstown Assembly Complex in Lordstown, Ohio, boosts new technology and greater fuel efficiency, the automaker says.

In anticipation of the announcement, General Motors teased tonight’s unveiling in the form of emotocons – or “emoji,” which are symbols used in texts and email to express emotions.

The emoji language news release was translated Monday. “It’s the best new thing since sliced bread for stylish and socially connected people,” GM promised.

“We had the idea that the new Cruze could change the world.”

According to the website GMAuthority.com, the new car is “far more athletic looking than the outgoing Cruze.” States the review, “The thing looks pretty sharp. Not to mention angular, and very 2016 Volt-like in appearance. Time will tell if the driving prowess will back up the rakish looks on the road.
