Corvette Restoration Presentation at Packard Museum Saturday

WARREN, Ohio – The National Packard Museum’s Coffee & Donuts seminar series returns Jan. 19 with a presentation on Corvette restoration.

At noon on Saturday, Carl Carbon will talk about the process and available resource for restoring the classic Chevrolet model, whether for having fun driving the Corvette on the weekend or with eyes on national awards.

Two cars Carbon restored, 1957 and 1963 Bloomington Gold Certified models, are on display as part of the Packard Museum’s Corvettes of the Valley exhibit, which runs through April 14. Carbon has won national awards for both cars.

With support from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky., the exhibit features models from each generation of the Corvette, including a rare 1963 split-window coupe owned by Anthony Ricci Jr. of Boardman.

The exhibit is sponsored by the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau, the Mahoning Valley Corvette Club, the Shenango Valley Corvette Club and Greenwood Chevrolet.

The museum is open noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and children. Children under 7 are free.
