Shenango Chamber Announces Phoenix Award Winners

SHARON, Pa. — The Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce will honor the 2019 Phoenix Award winners at a luncheon and award ceremony on Thursday, May 16.

This is the 15th year for the event, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Corinthian Banquet Center at 47 Vine Ave.

Tickets for the event are $35 and include a lunch buffet, dessert and chance to win a door prize. Registration and lunch begins at 11:25 a.m., with the ceremony beginning at 12:10 p.m.

This year’s winners include:

  • New Business Startup – Purpose The Therapeutic Subscription Box, Hermitage.
  • Entrepreneur Award – Anna Marie Mindicino, Do Good, Sharon.
  • Innovation Award – Olive’s Place Boutique and Gift Shop, Sharon.
  • Growth Small Manufacturing – Industrial Robotix, Greenville.
  • Growth Large Manufacturing – American CAP Co., Wheatland.
  • Growth Large Service (nonprofit) – UPMC Horizon, Farrell and Greenville.
  • Growth Large Business (for-profit) – Sharon Regional Medical Center.
  • Nonprofit/Service Organization (large) – Tails of Hope, Hermitage.
  • Nonprofit/Service Organization (small) – Chelsea Rowe Rescue Fund, Sharpsville.
  • Beautification Award – Sara Giordano, The Insite Group, Sharon, and The Hanging Basket Program in downtown Sharon.
