CoreLife Eatery to Open May 9 in Boardman
BOARDMAN, Ohio – CoreLife Eatery, a restaurant offering greens- grains- and broth-based dishes, will open its newest restaurant at 700 Boardman-Poland Road here May 9.
The restaurant is the chain’s 53rd across New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Michigan and Utah. It is the first in northeastern Ohio.
All menu items, ranging from salads to rice bowls to Power Plates, are free of trans fat, artificial colors and sweeteners, and GMOs. Chicken and steak are hormone- and antibiotic-free.
“Customers have been trained to believe that healthy food cannot taste good, but we are debunking that myth,” said Todd Mansfield, partner and chief cultural officer for CoreLife Eatery, in a prepared statement. “We create our menu every day in store from simple, top quality ingredients that taste great and our customers want to eat.”
Within the next five years, CoreLife plans to expand to more than 300 restaurants, both franchises and corporate locations, over the next five years.
A recent report in Forbes magazine noted a ranking by Technomic that listed CoreLife Eatery as the only chain among the largest restaurant chains in the nation that more that doubled its revenue in one year. According to the magazine, “revenue spiked a whopping 133% in a year and that’s not a typo.”
The chain is based in Syracuse, N.Y.
