Miksit, Kankipati Join Akron Children’s Pediatrics

Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics is welcoming Alex Miksit, M.D., and Stanka Kankipati, M.D., to its office in downtown Warren. The practice, 661 Mahoning Ave. NW, provides pediatric primary care for infants, children and teens. Miksit (pictured) earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland. He also earned a B.S. in biology from the University of Akron. Kankipati received his medical degree from Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam, India. He also earned a master’s in biology from Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. He previously worked as a general pediatrician at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Ore., and was also a general pediatrician at CCP Laurel Pediatrics in Uniontown, Pa.
