Naturopathic Wellness Center Race Benefits Autism
BOARDMAN, Ohio — The Ohio Naturopathic Wellness Center is teaming up with Mahoning Valley businesses to sponsor its third charity 5K and 10-Mile Relay at 8:45 a.m. Aug. 15 at the Bikeway Kirk Road Trailhead
Proceeds benefit the Autism Society of the Mahoning Valley and Supported and Facilitated Environments.
The races will take place in Mill Creek MetroParks where registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with the races, which include a kids’ fun run an hour and 15 minutes later.
“This is our third charity 5K event, and this year’s proceeds will again benefit The Autism Society and SAFE and all of the wonderful programs they provide,” said Ted Suzelis, N.D., owner of Ohio Naturopathic Wellness Center.
Prizes will be awarded to the top runners in each age bracket as well as for the winning 10-mile relay team. The first 100 children who sign up for the fun run will receive a free toy from Maui Toys.
